been a while

this is not an update. this is simply to say that I'm still alive, and am hoping to do some writing tonight. we're hosting a boy scouts sleep over night, and I'm one of the lucky supervisors, so I'll have the whole night here at the stadium to catch up on stuff.

thanks for making my birthday special. in retrospect it almost seems like i put effort into making sure it wouldnt be anything out of the ordinary but i couldnt stop it in the end! more to follow.
